Streams in the Desert Dance Ministry

Mission Statement: 

The vision for Streams in the Desert (Nu-Vision, Towdah, Zion and Judah combined) is to use the art of dance to bring souls into the Kingdom and to lead others into the presence of God.

Our CALL and MISSION is to advance the Kingdom of God. To present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God.  To worship Him in the beauty of His holiness; lifting Him up so that men would be drawn into His presence. To impart encouragement, restoration, healing deliverance and salvation to God’s people.  To love as God commands, speaking His uncompromising oracles through movement, pageantry, and the spoken word to all mankind.  (Matthew 28:19-20)

Requirements/Benefits of Membership: 

To become a member of Streams in the Desert Dance Ministry (Nu-Vision, Towdah, Zion and Judah combined)
 

Nu-Vision potential members must meet the following criteria:

• Be at least 21 years of age and led by the Lord to join the ministry

• Have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior

• Be a member in good standing at Morning Star Baptist Church

• Have completed Transformation/New Member classes

• Be willing to participate in dance technique workshops and conferences no less than twice a year

• Be willing to participate in outreach ministry

• Complete eight discipleship/training sessions prior to ministering
