The Woman, the boy and the prophet; the reward of discernment

    Bishop John. Borders, III

    Beloved of God,

Your destiny rests in your relationships.  I always feel a little carnal when I say, “You ought to leave some people alone.”  It can be cruel and reckless to dismiss people from your life.  On the other hand, you only have so much room and so much time in your life to build blessed, rewarding relationships.

Always give first.  People who always take first cannot be trusted with the Kingdom.  Whenever you pour out your heart and soul for another’s comfort, you pour it out unto the Lord. Everyone is different, even odd. God may not tell you why you should help this one or that one and not others. Follow the Holy Spirit’s leading because it will turn out for your good in the future.

Healthy relationships endure tribulation.  A true friend is a fortress. They will protect you in the hour of dismay. They last a lifetime and don’t need constant reinforcement.  Keep true friends in a sacred space. God will honor you with a lifetime of healing and joy.

    Love and peace

    John Borders III
