Church mothers are the hall monitors of the congregation. When you’re late for class, they always give you a break. In some ways, they are the most effective ministers in the church family. They show grace to wayward children, they provide counsel to weary servants, and they offer welcome arms to God’s infant children.
Whether your mother is alive or in heaven, Mother’s Day is the day to honor her. Some mothers left deep wounds but, through God’s grace were also the canals for your birth. Most mothers have a secret account with God. They send up so many prayers and shed so many tears before the Father that, they qualify for special grace.
Join me in celebrating our Church mothers. Some don’t wear the designation, While all do not wear the the official title but, their impact upon our lives and congregation will never be forgotten. We are all enriched for those great souls whose presence reminds us of God’s goodness. To all our church mothers and real mothers…Happy Mother’s Day.
Also, May 28th is Membership Appreciation Sunday. Moms, make sure to invite all your family and friends to join us on this special day.
